Are these sierra plugs???

Hi guys, still tackling the wiring, I've downloaded and printed(yes every single page) a sierra Haynes Manuel, looking at the wiring diagrams none of them match the colours on my plug wires from the instrument cluster and I could really do with the wiring diagram

I have not seen connectors like those in a sierra.

It is probable that the loom has been split with aftermarket connectors.

Do you know the age of the donner? There were several changes during the production run.

This is the issue I'm having mate, with all the paperwork I have with the car there's just a reciept for the doner vehicle. All its says is 2.0l ford sierra sold as seen £60 then 2 signatures, now I'm assuming (and it's not always good to assume) that the car itself is an f reg, in the paperwork there's an application acceptance form for a "age related plate" which is on the car so with that I have downloaded a 1988 manual for the car, the stalks are round type with a button on the windscreen wiper stalk for the washers if that helps

Dunno about you but when I looked at official wiring diagrams and tried to match them up to the real thing, it was damn impossible anyway...

What are you trying to do - just fix a couple of issues or a complete re-wire?

Just trying to tidy the wiring up, there was so much excess wiring I'm just trimming and rejoining but the instrument cluster wiring is horrendous so was going to try and rewire that section

TBH, my dash wiring looked an utter mess before I used loom tape to make it look pretty:

PS: I wouldn't recommend fabric loom tape, it's a b&st&rd to get off at a later date....insulation tape and various size of plastic conduit would be better IMO.
