After a disappointing start at Kimbolton, I am not discouraged so still want to take advantage of this sudden burst of good weather.   So we will have a picnic/runout tomorrow (Thursday 18th) at Burghley House at Stamford (PE9 3JY).   I'm aware that many people are away on holidays (thanks to all the East of England members who wrote to apologise for not coming) but I am sure some are still around.

We will be in the overflow car park (grassed so much nicer then hardstanding) from 12:00, all are welcome.

Another cracking day, gorgeous driving weather.    Burghley House is a great place to visit with plenty to see and do so is very popular.   The big attraction for us is that they don't pay for parking, they charge only for the house and gardens. Even though the children are still at school (I think), the place was packed and the car park was full.

But we found a nice spot in the overflow car park 😀

And as the old saying goes, "It's not the quantity that matters, it's the quality" 😀
