Any advice on changing head gasket on a 2L Zetec black top engine. Still looking for the right Haynes manual.

I'm sure there are a few folks on here who can offer some advice but they probably won't visit the site very often at this time of year so you might have to wait a bit for a reply.

Thanks for the reply. Your probably right in not many visits this time of year. I am in the process of wondering if the problem may be as simple as a faulty thermostat !!

I'll check that out next time I go to the garage. Hope its that simple !!

Do you have access to a leak down tester?

I have a blacktop engine, fairly new to it all but depends on the coolant setup you are running I have a race line set up. Had a coolant leak and was coming from the housing. I think it’s a common item on these to go.
