I've just watched more pictures of the events since Boxing day. I can't sit here and do nothing, either as a Human Being or as Chairman of this Club. We pride ourselves in our willingness to help. So on your behalf, the club is sending £1000 to the appeal.

well done tim,

We went to Sri lanka in 2000, and the road they showed was the main road near the hotel, its hard to take in that all the towns and villages we passed daily have been wiped out.

Now if the "allies" would put as much effort into helping these people has they have destroying other countrys then the suffering of hundreds and thousands of innocents would end sooner.

This catastrophe is now on the scale of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. its just so hard to take in. Just pray there are no second tremours.
