Yep but you'll need to give a good mechanical key and use an acid etch primer.

Seeing you lot know most things.
I drive quite a few miles via counrty lanes to get to work and unfortunatly see quite a lot of road kill badgers.
All the other road kill quickly disappears / eaten by the other wildlife but the badgers can be there for weeks untouched untill I assume the council moves them.
So why does nothing take the oppertunity to feed of the dead badgers. ??

I know there a lot of debate on when people over decorate there house with lights but this is on a whole new level.
Spotted this in one of the more affluent parts of Cheshire. Most of the drives are stuffed full of high end German cars, Bentleys and Range Rovers etc then this park next to a very nice SLK on the drive.

Have a good one

Also check the valve guides. one of mine also on no2 was worn also. kept eating the seals. If you've got the head off pop the valve springs off and check the play by waggling the valve shaft in the guide. If it moves it's it worn.

Thanks just got some K-Seal on the way to work, I'll put it in tonight and see how it goes. Now need someone to repair it when I'm off work at the end of October.

You could have one made for half that so a recore should be reasonable
Thats what I said when he quoted the price. It's only one of the cores thats gone, If it was a copper rad I'd clean round the hole cut though the core roll both ends up a bit and solder it up.

Is there a vacum building up in the system, Try removing the filer cap if it happens again and listen for a sucking noise when you open the cap.

Well after 7 + years of loyal service my Honda's developed it's first fault, A small hole in one of the radiators. Good job I was sitting down when phoned for the price off a new one 437 + vat. So can anyone recommend someone who can repair an alloy radiator in the north west. And as a temp measure any quick fixes, I've tried barrs leaks in the past with little success and don't fance fancy chuckking an egg in are there any other products ?
Cheers
