Hi, looks to me like your "new" rear is from an estate, and your old is from a hatchback. I was told when I ordered my Kit that the estate rear end could only be used with coilovers, unless you want to do modifications. Nick

Hi acc is what it said on the switches I've used... It probably means "accesssory", i.e. this wire goes to the thing you want to switch on Hope this helps Nick

Hi, if memory serves.... You can disgard the red wire, this is from the side light circuit to illuminate the switch when sidelights are on. You need a switch with 3 terminals +ve = Black red -ve = Black acc = Blue Yellow Like I said..... If Memory Serves....... I can't get to my wiring without a partial strip down so I can't check it that way. Also I'm sure I made notes, because I've sorted another members fog light switching using mine as a template, but don't know where to start looking!!!!!!. Nick

Andy, I just used the surround supplied, but I'd not built the screen up previously so I just guessed how much I could get away with. Like I said earlier 50mm bigger would have made construction etc. easier. Nick

Hi, my taller screen is fitted (as some may have seen at Newark). The only thing that is a problem is the height of the doors (they're now too short!!) I would advise anyone else to only go 50mm taller as a maximum if you are going to use the standard weather gear.

Hi all, Was talking to Grim yesterday (thanks for calling round Andy) and we decided that either the first Wednesday or the first Sunday of the month would be good. Hi, my fan, as supplied, is now a push fan. What you have to do, is to remove the blade assy, reverse it, then space the motor so the blades sit back into the cowling. It seems to work ok. If anyone needs pics I'll try to find some or take some at the weekend. Nick

I used to have a Seat Leon Tdi SE, great car, cheap tax (£115) and insurance(group 9ish). 110 bhp, discs all round, leather wheel, climate control, alloys, leccy windows + mirrors, sporty seats. Only problem with it, was after a while I wanted the 150bhp one Nick

Hi, I'm not sure if this is OK, but here goes.... Is anyone in the South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire area interested in an informal local meet? My idea is just to pick a day/evening each month, meet at a convenient place (Pub) for a chat etc. or even a run out. I don't want this to be a formal thing, just an excuse to drive my Hood and meet like minded people. If anyone has any suggestions for a venue please post a reply.
