Just had at look at the different stalks the main beam/indicator the numbers on both are the same and same place so in theory that shud work I know that indicators and hazards do can't check main as not working but the wiper/light stalk numbers are all different so mite be easier to get new 83bg stalk but still doesn't explain why light not working do they need to go through relay as don't think fuse box got spades in relay position so really can't of had one

the original stalks on car ar sierra 83bg but there knackered snapped etc got some mint 87bg i understand that they switch different but can i rewire them to work as got problems with no dipp or main beam, when work main beam side lights go brighter and when put sidelights on main beam also lights up on dash original sierra 83 dash goes off wen main beam worked on stalk. anybody help

Wanted steering hub to fit sierra column for sparco quick release boss to go on sierra column but told need hex fit same as escort etc with horn attachment

That's what it looks like a disc shape so they mite of put the temp gauge wire onto that gonna short it out see if gauge moves

Does anyone know what the wire is that's goes to inlet manifold basically bottom of carb pierburg as the wire going to it is red and white which mite be the missing temp gauge wire

That's great next tim e in Plymouth summer prob with caravan or at a show I owe you some beer but be warned won't be last electrical prob I have lol can rebuild an engine eyes shut but still learning with electrics thanks again and everyone for help on this topic will try sort and report back

For example on the pic of mini plug green\park goes to 31b1 on my stalk but according to Haynes 31b1 goes to the intermittent relay from mynstalk but I don't have relay I don't think so do I basically take 31b1 straight from back of stalk to wiper motor and if so will park work

the only prob with longboarders wiring i have a pre 87 sierra set up using the lucas min motor and the diagrams dont help with this only using sierra motor so going to habve to investigate anyone know how to wire them in from scratch so i can basically start again.

i would like 2 speed and intermitant so anyone with diagram or help to enable me to do this would be great and getting confused with how to park the wipers grrrr i feeel like ripping it all out and starting again but time and health not good lol
