Why not go for the new talktalk deal
Line rental, free landline calls to UK + 28 countries + broadband for £20.99 a month
TalkTalk have put aside £50 million for the losses they are going to take in the first few months!
I gave up with the phone and went to local DVLA ( Edinburgh ) They gave me a VIN number in less than 5 minutes. I had made one up but they preferred to issue one from the book they had.
Hi
I'm at a similar stage and have cut one from Stainless and will attach to the chassis with socket cap screws.
Even easier would be cut one from ally and cover with leatherette until 'upgradeitis' comes along
I went the co-axial cable route but covered it in a strip of leatherette to match the trim which I will get round to installing one day....
I have the original RH stuff which I won't be using - PM me if you want it.
I think this has been discussed on the forum before but have searched to no avail - seem to remember it has something to do with the -ve to the coil or bad earth. If anyone can point me in the right direction - thanks
Definitely suffering from this....
Car was almost finished before I went and started re-doing bits
Ho-hum It WILL go on the road this summer 1 year late!
Well done guys - the truck ws being towed - Still more than a little disconcerting driving behind it - Your brain keeps telling you that you are about to die!
Re-installing ME so you can get all your data back is the simplest way out. There are plenty of dodgy sites out there you can get an image and serial nos. to get it going again.
Have you tried unplugging everything attached and rebooting in Safe Mode?
