  1.

Prior to SVA/IVA it was the norm to retain the original donor plate if there were enough donor parts in the final car, using a system of points. Mine was registered as a RH in 1996 and, since it was built entirely from one donor, retained the original plates, which I had in the footwell ready to be stuck on for the return journey from the registration office. I had to choose a name for it and went for Robin Hood Sierra 7, which is what is on the V5.

The weird thing now is that I cannot get any records on the gov.uk registration site under Robin Hood or Ford or any combination of those, but the correct details show up on the gov.uk MOT history by entering it as a Robin Hood. Interestingly, the Eurocarparts website thinks it is as a Ford Sierra.

Euro carparts has mine come up as a ford Transit

  2. Ok guys and girls the reason I have not been on the ball for this years end of season bash is the Helen has had treatment to remove cancerous lump from her breast, as a result she will be having to have chemotherapy. this will most likely result in hair loss. if any of you can help out with a small donation to buy a wig i would be greatly appreciated, any think left after purchase of a wig will be given to cancer research or Macmillan. please don't give me *bleep* for this post we have enough already.

  3. Just been speaking to the burger-van lady.

They will be there for the whole weekend. Serving food all day and all night untill folks turn in. There will be a full English plated breakfast in their gazebo with 18 chairs and 3 6ft tables. They will also be serving jacket potato's, chips and potentially pukka pies.

so all me and Helen need is sleeping bag and falling down water :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

thanks Richard sorry not on the ball this year
