In addition to switch you need a relay and fuse box in the boot. All parts listed on mx5 parts .com with the switch but not all in stock.

Sorry Alan but no.
Someone does as they posted a link.
I believe he now tunes them for a business.
His link on here might have been for Pinto specs but he then moved on to K series very successfully.
PM Bob Tucker. He is very good at remembering things like that.
I am also quite sure it was in the last 12 months, I've only been a member for a little over that.
I hate getting old.
Sounds like that might be Dave Andrews
)I don't know him but used his build blog for pinto stuff)

Mk1 mx5 interior door handles fit Aston Martin DB7.
Not such a cheap swap the other way round though.

So the plan is --- start off from Stafford around 09.30/10.00 on Friday 15th for the trek north -- via the M6 ??
Then Penrith for lunch & meet up with Dan & Phil ?

Because Ex injection pinto engines do not have mechanical fuel pumps I used a facet cube low pressure pump as close to tank as possible and a pressure regulator. I used the brass filter with no issues and a cheap filter before the carb.

I used bog standard rectangular rear fog and reversing lights and made a wooden wedge which I painted with black plastidip for the fog light and reversing light to bring them 90 degrees to the road.
The wedges were going to "fall off" after IVA but they never did.

Not wishing to subject anyone to my loud snoring in a bunk house I've booked the Rhichonich Hotel about half an hour south of Durness for the 18th.
(for the same reason also I have also booked a single room at Dunollie)
No going back now !
Just got to get the following done on the car
Water pump and timing belt change.
Crank front oil seal.
Fit water and oil temp gauge and oil pressure gauge.
Fit new roof and wire up heated rear window.
Fast Road Wheel alignment booked for 5.2.16.

A thought experiment along these lines. If you were travelling in a vehicle at light speed would you be able to see the headlight flash of the sprinter van trying to overtake?

I'm now thinking radiator cap bottom seal is letting water straight out of the overflow. You might be able to clean it up or try a new cap.

On your thermostat housing you have a blanked off spigot this is to bleed the system. Put a long tube on this spigot and raise it high into a bucket and run the engine all the air should come out.
Don't put too much coolant in the expansion tank just cover the return feed you don't fill the system through the expansion tank it should not be full at all when cold .

I'll need to join you on Skye on the Sunday night as I can't leave home on the 15th due to daughter's birthday.

I cut 4 slots in the tube surrounding the Bush with an angle grinder and peeled it like a bannana.

Having read the legal notice on their web site which seeks to disavow anything you are told on the website, catalogue or by an employee or director as to suitablity for application or even description of goods and services I'm surprised they didn't send you a potato and tell you it was as ordered.
