    Radiator

Hi Can someone tell me please what car the Zero radiator comes from? I was jacking it up yesterday and it fell from off the jack and the axle stand went through the rad!!!! Just had a look on kit parts and a new one is £100!! Cheers Graham
  4. I`m using the new Zetec you get with the kit. It has already got the clutch fitted to the engine. Would it have the spigot bearing already fitted inside it?
  5. Cheers guys Does it go near the splines on the input shaft from the gearbox that goes in to the clutch? Graham
  6. Afternoon all Happy new year to everyone. Lying in bed the other day and remembered that I haven`t fitted a spigot bearing. Now being really lazy now, does it need one or do I need to take the engine out and put one in? Is this what I need? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-SIERRA-TYPE-9-5-sp-GEARBOX-SPIGOT-CRANK-BEARING-/310237513932?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item483b98c8cc Thanks guys Graham

    Towing

That sounds like it could be at Boreham, Ford used to own it and test there rally cars. The RS200 was born there amongst others. I was going to take my Zero to Burn airfield just outside Selby (North Yorkshire). It`s a gliding club now. Gray

This might be a daft question but can I tow "Zoe" even though she`s not registered? Told you it was daft Graham
  15. Cheers Dinger, without you lot "Zoe" would still be a powder coated chassis. Ta Gray
  16. Cheers mate The digtal gauge runs at 100-510 Ohms. The sender I have is one from GBS, http://www.kitspares.co.uk/shop/item.php?cat=10&product=4859&catsub=0 I will check the Ohm range of it tomorrow. Gray

  18. Hi Nick How are you doing? I have had this put to me before but to be honest I aint got a clue how to do it or what I need. Gray
  19. Evening all This has been an on going problem for months now. I have bought a Koso digital speedo with an fuel sender Ohm range of 100-510. I am finding it really dificult findinga fuel sender in that range. Has anyone got any idears? Cheers Graham
  20. Errrrr..yeah they are. Think I have found the awnser. The car is going on a rolling road in 2 weeks so we will see what happends. Thanks Florin Graham
  21. Good point, yeah I did...filled it until it started dripping out of the filler hole.
  22. Do you need to fit the spigot bearing? I dont think I put one in. Just a new fork and release bearing. Graham
  23. Update Taken off the drive shafts this aft and run the diff. No knocking just the normal diff noice. If you hold the d/shaft and rock it back and forth there is a slight knock but is that just taking up the slack in the diff? It`s really hard to pin point the knocking as it seems to come from everywhere. Graham
  24. I am nearing completion of my Zetec Zero build. I have put the car up on axle stands and run it through the gears, and there is a loud knocking noise from the rear end. I have checked the wheel bearings incase they were loose and tightened the hub nut up to 150lb, although my torque rench doesn`t go up to 300. Would this make the noise? Cheers Graham
