Rhe Exhaust Repacking

Hi Guy's,

 

I can't find the article on cutting open the RHE exhaust and repacking it!

 

Where is it.... or did i just imagine that there was such a thing! :huh:

there was one i think

 

basically cut a hole , i did mine with a couple of hole saw holes, then joined them with a cutting disk

 

repacked then made a patch and riveted it on

As much as you can cram in ;) The more you put in now the longer it takes to blow out! I found the matting better than the loose stuff, you can wrap it round the tube down the middle of the silencer.

does it make it that much quieter?
Dropped mine down from 107.5dba to 97dba but only lasted for about 5k before it wanted doing again so I scraped it and fitted a Wonoff

We did not even bother getting any more packing on Joeys we just fluffed up what was in there :rolleyes: And we like the sound of it. :D :D

 

If you want it that quiet use the Tin Top :D :D
