Injection Bits

Hi,

I'm looking for some pinto injection bits as its started to surge at idle, if anyone is binning the injection I'm after the throttle position sensor and the MAF.

Try cleaning the air idle control valve just take it off and use carb cleaner to get rid of any cr^p in it this usually works.

i have a complete injection system, apart from things mounted off the engine.....

its in northamptonshire

i took the manifold off the head i wanted, and its lay under the bench ever since

its a large grey part with a black box on the side that is attached to the air cleaner box, I guess if you only had the engine you wouldn't have it.

doubt it then. mine stops at the round hole with the throttle position sensor part at the front end of the plenum

Hi Dave,

if the rest of injection bits are still on offer I could get them picked up next week sometime, my brother is starting work on a building site in Northampton next week .

JEZ, clean the throttle butterfly valve as well. I had the same problem

and cleaned the idle valve, with no effect. But when I removed

the circular plate and scraped every last bit of muck from it so that the

valve could close cleanly, the engine behaved itself!
