That would make it about 2000 BHP ton......

 

Its Rays Vette engine.....he's fed up getting knocked out in the first round of eliminations, so instead of racing this year he's sent the engine back to PAR (the engine builders) to be "refreshed" meaning repair/replace anything broken/worn out.

 

 

OH and by the way can you take it up to the 2000 BHP (bare engine, no NOS ) it was designed to have? :D

 

Plus......weve got a 500 HP NOS kit sitting in the garage waiting to be fitted at the end of next year (if needed!)

You'd be a braver man than me.....I scared myself silly in the Vette at a RWYB....it was a touch of Warp Factor 9 Mr Sulu...

Everything started whooshing by in a blur....but

 

The new LS1 Chevy engines would fit a treat.....ally block, 5 litres, 350 hp upwards...

and a Powerglide 2 speed auto box is no bigger than a MT75.....no need for a 5 speed manual with all that torque & very little weight

 

I'll be looking around when we go to see the engine being dyno'd in Charlotte in September....

I expect we can get 2 engines back for not much more than 1....
