The Jack Boots are going to get another polishing soon at the supermarkets, going have to queue at special high lighted till if you buy booze next in an attempt to curb binge drinking. link what a binge taste like? cant say I've had one

I have never impulse bought alcohol from a supermarket because I couldnt sit around for the time it takes to chill them.

Simple answer to that - get the Missus to go food shopping at the supermarket whilst I sit at home and order the booze on-line

Until they start delivering the stuff in a red and yellow striped "booze mobile" with flashing lights on top.

What a load of tosh... how about finding something for the kids to do, take away the lure of the street corner!

That just means I'll forget to buy food when I go to the supermarket!

 

It's a stupid idea and will have exactly the opposite of the intended effect! As my logic would go that if I have to go in a special queue to buy alcohol... in order not to have to queue up twice at the supermarket each time... YOU NEED TO BULK BUY! which means I'll end up walking out the supermarkets with trolleys jammed with crates feeling quite proud of myself... so how does that help binge drinking? It's going to encourage buying in bigger quantities and just stop the mum of your average family buying a bottle of wine to have in front of the TV...
