Has any one got photos/advise for mounting a coil pack for mega jolt for pinto in a mono S7.Also what to do as to shorten/ remove dizzy to allow oil pump drive on pinto ,ideas solutions etc please mower man

i have machined the top off the dizzy, leaving a flat flange, and then made a bracket to hold the coil pack onto the old dizzy top

2 jobs sorted at one

 

cant find the picture atm, can take one if you are interested...

 

also have the drawings for the bracket somewhere

I'm After this info too please, I've seen a photo of the coil mounted to the dizzy but wasn't sure if it was cut down or home made shaft.

Or you can do as Mitch has done and leave the dizzy in place as a fall back in case the megajolt plays up, then you can just fit plug leads and you're on your way again.

Hi Mick, have a picture of one on a pinto, not mine.

Mines the other side of the fire wall, which you cannot do.

scrap ones, are sometimes no good... you need one with good bushes, as the oil pump still relies on it

The top of the dizzy was hacksawed off and the shaft cut to length.

Bosch either elec or points it don't matter its going to be cut in two any way ! may have got it sorted mower man
