Pinto Engine Mounts.

I think this is right for bargains elsewhere. Noticed these in the caterham shop. Pinto mounts are getting difficult to find and the big ones are like jelly and let the engine wobble. Looking at the caterham mounts,(under engines, external) they would seem to be good for the job as long as that top bolt is the right diameter and will be stiffer than the later pinto offerings. £19.20 is reasonable but that's for each one. Sweet that caterham owners have to be told they will need two of these. Dur!

I used something that looks the same when I first installed the XE, but after a year I got clutch judder which I traced (eventually) to the metal insert breaking free of the rubber.

Maybe they dont like being twisted?

I think they are a gearbox mount, which just has to support the weight.

 

They may be OK with a pinto, so try a Jag specialist first IIRC I paid £7 each about 5 years ago

i am using rover v 8 for the duratec

The problem is the pinto ally bearer arms need a long top bolt. If these are not up to the job Bob then disregard.
