Hi all, have just fitted some new rear gaz shocks to my 2B . I have set the damper settings to 20 clicks, but after a road test reset them to 15 clicks. I was wandering what other people had set there damper settings to.

Think mine are 12 on my 2b. But I think I might add 1 or 3 clicks more

I have just put mine up to 20 clicks and find that it doesn't get out of line nearly so easily!

I run mine at 12 clicks

if your running 20clicks id say your spring rate is wrong damptech told me a while ago that a max of 8 is all that is needed.

when i had 300lb springs i had it set around 14-15 . now i upped to 350lb springs its been turned down to 10-11

 

and it doesnt bottom out now...

about 6 to 8 i think. Grounding out should not be controlled by increasing damping, it just gives a hard and skittish ride. The combination of correct spring rate and just enough damping to stop it bouncing around is the best way, imo.

glad to see you got them fitted, they were origionally from dampertec and was told by dave that the spring were correct for 2b
