Got a few more emails and calls to make and then i'll post up the petrol and lunch stops, I hope most have a sat nav that can accept longitude/latitude coordinates as postcodes don't always match to the location of petrol stops and I want to avoid that "i'm out of petrol where is that *bleep*ing petrol station".

Nope, don't have a sat nav, I just use google maps on the phone. So no idea if that works with long lat and routes.

Yep Google maps can use longitude and latitude :)

Not sure about the route thing though!

It'll be grand, will do my best regarding route details as we WILL get broken into groups!

Sat Nav's are for girls. Whats wrong with with being a 'proper bloke', don't read a map, don't ask for directions and get lost with pride :)

Not that I have ever got lost - honest guv!

Day 1;

Meet at Woodall services @ 8.30am departing 9am (gives Ozz a chance to get over from Newark)

Ferrybridge services @ 10am departing 10.15am (gives 80mph+ Peter2b to make the 2.5hr trip there without a pre-dawn start)

Lunch at Scotch corner departing 12.30pm after a rest.

Arrive Falkirk a few hours later getting fuel as required along the way, visit Falkirk wheel and head for the pub.

To arrive in Falkirk before 4pm to catch closing time of the visitor centre means an early start for Peter and Ozz and a hard slog up the road so to prevent potential ruination of the trip we'll take it in our leisure and look at the wheel from afar if required.

Day 2;

Aim to depart around 9am, following Whiz and the saltire through the glens to Onich for lunch, their bar menu is being reviewed but food is decent.

Last petrol stop open 7 days a week 7.30am to 7.30pm

If there is interest we could give Glenfinnan viaduct a flying visit

Arrive at Dornie hotel, head for the pub!

Food is served 12pm - 2.30pm and 6pm - 9pm, again the menu changes in April but fresh seafood is on the menu.

Day 3;

After breakfast we'll have a mooch around the most photographed castle in the world before heading off to Applecross, this day is the least miles (~130) and gives us a rest from driving and also time for some sightseeing throughout the day.

Lunch at Applecross Inn

Then head off to Inverness at our leisure.

Day 4;

Lunch @ http://uk.theglenlivet.com/visit-us/the-distillery to soak up the sampling

Petrol @ http://goo.gl/maps/SZARv

Day 5;

As day 1
