As DanE above, this is what I was thinking last night, buy a registered Zero and swap bits, although thinking more about it, what would I gain by going to a Zero? My Superspec with 200ish bhp is more than I can use on the road, is the Zero that much lighter/better handling? I never get out of the car I have now without a big grin on my face, so maybe, in a few years use mine as a doner and go through IVA properly.
