Rear Coilover Mounts

Hi has anyone got any pictures or know where I can get the bottom mounts for the coilover to fit on the sierra trailing arms I've got the top mounts already thanks Clive.

They are simply a U shaped bracket

mine are exposed at the moment I will take a picture later but as above simply u brackets

Add to above --- the U brackets position may not fall directly into the centre of the Sierra arm due to slight differences in alignment between roll-bar mount & Ford sub-frame position.

 

On Florin I welded 2 ears into the "arm cup" which are closer to the line required; given that the arm moves though an arc.

 

And make the ears tall enough to get the bolts in --- mine are tight.

been drilling lots of rivets out so excuse the swarf

GBS do the kit if you don't want to make your own

Looking at Chris's pics --- leave a drainage hole if using brackets --- rust makes the car heavier --- until it falls off.

Just found some Gaz kits for mine. Cheapest I could find Gaz was from dampertec. £160. Come with bottom brackets.

I suppose someone is now going to tell me where I can get Gaz two way adjustable cheaper now that I've bought some.

I think I paid £160 to £180 a pair for mine from Dampertech, and I bought the fronts in 2007.
