Passenger Foot Rest

Has anyone fitted a passenger foot rest, my wife keeps sliding down the car, if you fit one what happens if your next passenger is a different height?

I put one in mine years ago, after being a passengers as mutley drove it once, Not a nice ride when you're slipping forward every time the brakes are applied.

Wish my brakes were that good.....

Some dense foam/packaging, wedged in the foot-well for my better half. easily removed for taller people.

Cover it in carpet for that fitted look.

As above just stuff an old bag-full of rags down there, it needs to be removable as it's another storage space on the long trips.
