Hi guys - I don't have permission to start a thread in events so a quickie here. GBS are hosting a track day at Donnington on April 2nd. Does anyone have any further information regarding this? Is it an open day? Is it bookable? Can we take our cats? Etc...

RHOCAR always tries to book a track day at RAF Barkston Heath with the RAFMSA each year.

This is not an airfield circuit, but a purpose built, very technical, sprint track, which is located on an

airfield. Costs have been approx £50 per day in the past, and the day is always a real hoot.

Wait till you see that one advertised, & book a place.

Members get first dibs.....it may be worth splashing out £15......

Last I heard in Aug 2014 Bill Brown emailed me with the news that RAF Barkstone had been taken back into service at a slightly more active level and even the RAFMSA was no longer able to use it as a motor-sports venue. Unless something has changed then 'Barkstone' is no longer happening.

I've done track days in the past but I've never paid more than £90!
