Stephen, it would be good to see you & catch up on Sunday, but understand if the weather is iffy.

We won't be at the coast at 0900, we'll be starting roughly halfway between Canterbury and Maidstone, so not as far to travel early in the morning!

Names so far:

Al & Lana

Bob T + 1

Ken

Bob & Mo

Richard & Anne

Stephen & Lesley (possible)

I'll PM everyone my mobile number, just in case of any last minute hiccups.

Cheers

Al

Both grandsons (one of them would have been my +1)

have had a better offer........an afternoon at Buckmore Park karting.....

So I may leave immediately after the fishy lunch,

trying to eat a giant cornet while driving,

in time to offer very loud advice from the sidelines.....

or maybe from the kart behind!

Guys,

I have googled my PC to death searching for the laybys at J4 of the M2, but I havent been able to locate them.

Can I suggest the Farthing Corner services on the south heading side instead?

No problem with me .

Through the services south/east bound and park up as near to the fuel station as poss.

By the way Bob, the lay byes are just painted on the hard shoulder each side of the road as soon as you exit the roundabout.

What a good day 13 1/2 hour day in the sunshine.

It did get a bit steamy at times helps if you conect the rad fan back up after removing the rad to fit new wishbones.

Thanks Ail for a great day out

What a good day that was.

Hundreds of cars, thousands of people come for the sunshine.

Drive from the registration/meeting point to Ramsgate both scenic and entertaining. Especially tunnels and roundabouts.

Saying no more about that as would probably be shouted at, I didn't speed once though.

Good entertainment for the passing crowd watching someone fast asleep sat bolt upright in his car.

All in all a great day and can't wait for next year.

Well done and thank you Al.

Kent really is waking up.

Glad everyone enjoyed the day, time in the sunshine with good company is always enjoyable.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but what a good turn out of cars of all descriptions.

The drive from the meeting point was fun, shame the cars got a little splattered on the way in and out of the meet up point!! :bad:

I'll remember the sound in the tunnel - awesome, but then again I think half Ramsgate heard us    :D

Nice to read that everyone got home safely, even the 2b kettle made it home safely :fool: (note for file there Stephen!)

Thanks everyone for making the day such an enjoyable time
