Many thanks for the kind words guys.

Truth is the plane makes me look better than I really am....

The club is probably the best in SE England, we have 3 runways in different directions, we own a golf club type mower,

and enough retired old codgers who like driving it!

I tried the grandsons RC cars & ended up having to buy them new ones....Kerbs are really tough.

I tried helicopters (only indoor ones) & got trashed by my (then) 5 year old grandson.

But I manage planes OK..

 

I am working on summat for Bob & Mo's BBQ event......

An elastic band driven race would prove interesting.

Sounds better than my Rover 1.8, there again, so did the old pinto..

How did you get the scaled down grass though, would love a lawn like that.

Model aircraft are all much more difficult to fly than the full size things, otherwise I would not be here to tell the many & various tales of my limited flying.

Plan on your BBQ creation being a hand launch affair Bob, cant make our grass look that good. ( or give it bloody big wheels)
