I've Got The Kit Car Builder Bug

Recommended Posts

Since building, and getting the 2B road legal last November, I have been looking for a project to get me out of my wife's hair. I remembered an advert I had seen whilst searching "kit cars" on the web, and settled on building a Lightning swing bin racer for my Grandson. Now as a kit car owner, young Stanley wants to know if he Qualifies for club membership?

Why is Stanley sitting in your car when his is right next to it???

Where did you get such a large, shiny swing bin???

Yes, which is fastest, the one with the pinto, or the one powered by the 18 volt battery drill?

Great stuff.

Wish I had grand kids to give me the excuse to make one for myself.

Both cars look superb. Suggested to my daughters that we build one each for them, however they are 20 and 21 years old and don't seem that interested.

I'm down the road from you in Horley - Robin Hood 2B

Anyone qualifies for membership - it's more a state of mind.

For young Master Stanley, sign him up now - think of the education he'll receive!!

Thankfully we didn't see this pic before Bob & Mo's BBQ, otherwise they may have lost a wheelie bin or 2 for their Grandchildren's car!!
