Does anyone know what type of shockers are on a 2B?

Cheers, what are they off? My mate needs to replace one but doesn't know what to buy. Is it a sierra shocker?

You can get a set from here.....this company evolved from RHE who supplied the sub k kit

Maybe a better alternative is to contact Dave at Dampertech.

They can supply shockers & springs for most Hood models.

He will need to know......fully open length......fully closed length, and the type and

size of the end fittings.

I assume he can re-use the spring?

I sent one of my old ones to dampertech for dave to measure so that there was no chance of a mistake. It only cost about 5 or six quid to send and was worth it for peace of mind. He has a quick turn around and seems to know his stuff.

Surely he will want to replace both not just one, if one is shot the other can't be far behind. I changed both my springs as well for softer ones and it cost a couple of hundred pounds for the lot I think.

Cheers fellas, it's registered as a 2b apparently but it does look like a subk

I'll get him to speak to dampertech and yeah I expect he will order both sides

If I recall, the sub k evolved into the 2b and the original 2b became the 2b plus (double wishbone)

Its the 2B/04 with the Mini macPherson Struts.
