assume its an open diff!! after an LSD with push in shafts

Open diff. I don't think they made a limited slip diff with push in shafts.

Other option is to fit an atb but wouldn't know where to start with that and expensive enough without paying someone to fit!

If you want a slip diff that works the ATB is the nuts. One of the best mods I did to my car. But only nessary if you are spinning up everywhere..

plenty of spin going on. how much did it cost you to get fitted? dont think is something for me to tackle

Guy who fitted mine won't do Sierra. Only old skool ford. But cost me £150 with new bearings etc

Excellent mod for a seven is a viscous slipper but they are getting rarer and expensive and the push-in shaft ones are like hens teeth. Be not dismayed however because it's easy to change the inner tripode joint on the driveshafts to take a lobro so you have a hybrid type that bolts up to a flanged diff. Job done. Of course if your donor had a disc rear end then you should have lobros already.
