no not the kinky kind! ;) :p

 

a few years ago you used to be able to buy this stuff at the shows

looked sorta underseal like but went on thick and dried very much like rubber

 

anyone know who stocks/sells it?

was lookin at donny and couldnt find any :boohoo:

Can't remember what it's called :blink: but DIY stores - B&Q Homebase etc. sell a roofing sealer that dries flexable and is like rubber. The advert used to show it painted on a sponge and once it had gone off you could still squeeze the sponge it was so flexable. Don't know if that helps :huh:

You want to be careful with that if you are going on top of anything that can rust... if it gets perforated then water creeps in behind it & can't escape - perfect for rusting important bits of chassis away!!

Ask some classic car owners about underseal - you might be surprised by how much a lot of them hate the stuff...!!

Not much point in that with mine then Barry.

 

Although if you soundproofed yours all round you might not be able to hear mine when I'm following you down the motorway.

 

Sounds a top idea for under the clam shell wings though. I feel another task to my list of winter jobs that I'm compiling.

the number on the 2 adverts dont seem to be the guy that sells it anymore :boohoo: :boohoo:

 

had a word with someone at work and sika do somthing similar but i cant afford the mortage ;(

 

will have a word with my roofer mate me thinks
