Edinburger would be nice, My parents live nearby but they only have a little terraced house so there would not be room for 300 Hoodies wanting tea and biscuits.

Count Joey and me in :D

I was a bit worried about the language barrier myself - I can't understand you southerners at all!!

I work in edinburgh, so will hopefully be able to assist bill with translating the locals. below are a couple of examplesof what you might encounter to be going on with.

do you know how to respond to the question:-

bega shoe!!!!

The correct answer is sorry pal av nae change.

or how about -

ye whant salt n sos wi that?

This one is usually asked in a chippie (purveyor of fine deep fried foods) and is asked in order to divine as to whether you wish to have copious amounts of vinegar laden brown sauce added to your fish and chips (- you definately do.). Great care must be taken with this one though as asking for salt n sos in glasgow will almost certainly be met with a blank stare and the question:-

Ur yu a poof?

Im sure that we can all answer this negatively (though yellow may be an issue???).

seriously though, looking forward to meeting many of you next year.

cheers, J
