With a 0.75 oversize

 

Have a look in the corner behind the big pile of rocking horse 5.it

its a 2.8 v6 if that helps

he aint got no odd pinto pistons, only complete sets, which you can get :boohoo:

I'm looking at a rebore +.25mm and new 93 +1mm pistons, balanced and fitted £280 I dont think its too bad at that.

Have you sussed why it holed a piston in the first place? Not preignition or weak mixture due to the mapping of the megasquirt I hope? Or was it the piston lands that gave way due to sustained high rpm? Need to give it some thought before you go thrashing it again.

The old piston was obsolete 10 years ago, so I've ordered four new ones and a rebore +0.25mm

That'll be nice! Bit more Power... Are they standard V6 or oversize V6 ones or something??

The old ones were v6 pistons but .75mm oversize the new ones are v6 pistons but 1mm oversize. ie 94mm.

The extra capacity will be nothing compared to having four pistons working instead of one.

Does'nt 94mm get very close to the water ways at the water pump end?
