it looks surprsingly good but not sure how much air you'll get through those holes?

 

are your arches carbon fibre effect? as i seem to recall some sort of sheet that can do it, would save the hassle of painting and give you a bit of contrast if you still want it?

yeah ive seen the sheet stuff,but i think il live with it yellow for a while and see how it goes,

 

the wholes are 70mm in diamiter so no problem there,not sure on the air flow thruogh the front mind you

Andrew - FWIW, I think the scoop will be fine. If a foam filter is out in the airstream, the air passing over it quickly tends to prevent it entering the mouths; your arrangement would seem to allow the air to enter fairly rapidly without passing by so to speak. The main thing is you should be able to get a fair volume in there. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but it looks OK to me.
