  1. Hi the switch come AFTER the fuse. So -- battery - fuse - switch The good thing with that fuse box is one side can be switched live eg take feed from key and the other side can be perm live straight from battery eg clock etc

  2. Hi the race line sump should be fitted with the baffles from a silver top zetec which you have to but separately but it does sound like gasket has moved. I used a couple of tiny drops of superglue to hold gasket in place

  3. Hi the terminals are as follows. Two larger spade ones one goes to battery one goes to fuse box ( key switch ) (fords way) but lots of builders run both to battery the small spade one goes to a light on dashboard to show if it's charging the light should have a 12v feed to it when ign is turned. ( all in a black plug) the other term also spade on its own normally has a suppressor on it. ( a small black plastic rectangle ) that screws to alt body In the days gone by it stopped the motor sound you got through the speakers while driving. Don't connect it to anything else you will damage alternator

  4. Hi the electric side of your carb is one of only two things. Electric choke or some had a kind of stop solonoid fitted both can just be disconnected and taped up as there is a 12v feed going to them while the car

is on. Also you can keep the mechanical pump that's fitted but most people remove it cover the hole with a blanking plate (see burton power website ) and run a small facet electric one as your mech one might struggle a bit on a long high rpm run.

  5. Yep deff put it through Iva with pinto first then yep the zetec is a easy swap you can buy a clutch pin from GBS that fits in the bell housing to use the standard zetec clutch and flywheel for like £6 The gearbox bolts straight up to a zetec and if your really on a budget you can buy adaptor plates to bolt your pinto carb on the zetec and buy an EDIS from like a fiesta for. £20 or so. and that's the spark side sorted. That's real basic running but it's running !!!!

When your at that stage post back or if your stuck with anything else

  6. Hi. Any injection parts if that's the way your going eg fuel pump etc. you can also take the loom and ecu if you want to run it as ford intended but to be honest most people here started with a crate engine as there's not much else you can take from the car
