try to drain down all fuel from carbs but fresh petrol the good stuff in a can and feed from can might be a build up of water in fuel tank

hi, just about to make up a inlet manifold for bike carbs i have the carbs all sonic cleaned and  re jetted for my 2l pinto with a inlet steel manifold that i need to weld pipes to connect to my carbs with silcon hose would like to see some photos that has been done to get idea's eg balance pipes ect ect 

o my god not again as i go over a fag paper

would personally not fit cloth seats if you get court out in the rain you have to set in wet seats all the way home where as with Leatherette you can wipe dry

two std kit car rads removed from my car too replace with alloy rad both the same no leaks £15.00 each collection from kings lynn 

we went today a little disappointed not many trade stalls 

hi I am limited with space with it being a mk 2 i have put side panels in the nose to channel the air through the rad and run with no thermostat the gauges are all new last year  yes mine does get hot in the tunnel and i have no heater i have also fitted two air vents in the bonnet as well as a scoop ,think my next step is two vents in the side ,

hi has anyone swapped the std rad out for a twin core ally rad, it so was there a lot of difference with running cooler still having a problem with mine running hot over 50mph have electric fans fitted

dont use this company took  my old one in when on holiday near them and asked for a direct replacement and when got home they have sold me one that needs the coil plus a rewire not happy , use motortronic from ebay they have the right one and know what they are taking about

yes got a new one but thank you anyway, wanted to get sorted asap as on holiday this week and wanted to use the car

His name is Kev Randell and the last phone number I have for him is 07939 500569.  He is an absolute genius as far as I am concerned with the rolling road. If you manage to get booked in with him you need to take cash so get an idea of what it will cost before you go. I took a newly installed replacement engine to him and he got it to give out about 180 horsepower. He took the distributor off and bent the stops to give more advance or retard, I forget which and found another 20 odd horsepower. I hear a lot of people budgeting 3 or 4 hundred quid for a rolling road session, mine was way less than this! Let me know if you get hold of him and how you get on.

thanks will do, i have found a garage just a couple of miles away from me yesterday he and his son are into racing the old pintos' booked it in Tuesday night for him to look at the carb and set it up fingers crossed he will sort it , as we are on holiday friday for a few days around Stratford-upon-Avon , I am going to remove the carbs at the end of the year and fit motorbike carbs so will look to get it set up on rolling road then

I think the chap I use is now operating out of March. He seems to do most things but his speciality is pintos and Weber's so he might be your man. I'll try to find out where he is now and get his contact details
