Gents i'm selling for a friend, he's wanting £2,750 2L Zetec engine which has a water rail kit bought from Kit Spares. It also has a brand new alternator, bought as part of a fitting kit for the zero. Brand new starter motor purchased from Kit Spares. The engine also has the kit spares plenum which utilises the original throttle body and injection system. It has a Type 9 gearbox, a diff, shortened prop shaft, shortened steering rack. It also has the other bits from the donor car, steering column, column switches. The wheels have some marks as does some of the panels and GRP. Reason for sale is simple. I have kids. I've had it about 9 years. It's become more of a nuisance than the passionate project it started out being. There are other bits included...seat belts, expansion tank, carpet, steering wheel, fuel pumps. Some wiring has been done. cheers mark.

Hi all Ended up taking my car to Clive at autotronix,(thanks maccavvy) I could only just get the car up the trailer ramp it was popping and farting and back firing out of the carbs, but when I picked the car up after Clive had done his magic, what a difference, he's done a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend him for carb tuning. Cheers Mark.

I just feel a bit guilty. I had my 38degas tuned there and he's a nice guy. He sort of convinced me to go bike carbs but his prices where high... thanks.

Gents I have recently fitted some zzr600 bike carbs onto my pinto. I'm now wanting to get it tuned /jetted on a rolling road. Where in the Yorkshire area is the best place to go? I don't want to go to bogg brothers as I got my manifold and carbs from Danst. Cheers. Mark.

Hi After all the replies I have decided not to continue with the bonnet scoop, I have rang GBS, they can do me a bonnet but with no louvers, so, I’m going to fill and paint the centre, unless someone has a bonnet in polished stainless there wanting to sell, Thank you all for your replies you have given me some good pointers. Your opinions please Last year my bonnet was damaged by some scumbag, and my idea was to replace the bonnet over winter, But I thought I might try and cover it up with a bonnet scoop. I have made a prototype from fibreglass, can you have a look at the pics and tell me yes or no, Or, another way to cover the damage Thanks in advance Mark

hi neil I made mine longer by welding a two inch piece in, or you could raise your floor, should be some pic’s below Mark
