  2. I spoke to the new owner whos said he has brought it as an investment. He then asked me why I chose the Robin Hood over the others. He is a large lad so I pointed out that I could not fit in a Tiger ETC, I dont think he would fit in my Robin Hood as well. Did you ever see Richard smile so much, good luck to him . Plane Stories

We had a right joker on our return from Cyprus. He came on the tanoy and gave the usual info weather etc, then advised to keep your seat belt fastened as there was some turbulence and did not want people falling on to other people causing a fight having to divert to get fighting passengers off and a large fine. Then when we landed he asked please remain seated as when taxing he may have to swerve or may hit the terminal with a wing. stephen

    Plane Stories

There was also one about a BA pilot taxiing at Frankfurt where the air traffic controllers area bit abrupt. When asked to taxi to stand the pilot asked for directions. The tower responded have you not been to Frankfort before. The pilot responds yes in 1940 but we did not land. Stephen

  22. Mick re I did this and sat the fan heater in the car for a bit with the hood draped over car and it worked well . It as a pain to fit when it is cold though. I have Also added some P shaped rubber to the front of the hood as the soft covered tube on the hood sits to far back and misses the top of the windscreen frame to make a seal the flat of the P is glued to the front edge of hood and the poppers fitted through it is now water tight at speed. Good luck Stephen
  23. I had a similar problem on mine it was the servo I had replaced every thing els with new, and had got the servo from a breakers they would have replaced free if it was within a month of purchase but it was not only £20 to replace. Try this Link it may help explain how it works. stephen
  24. Hi you soon get use to it, take your time. I have found that right turns can be the worse when there two lanes to turn into. I have driven from New York to La in a week. Through France Belgium and Germany, the Greek islands and last year down to Le-mans with the Hood the French roads are great. Have just got back from Cyprus and I know they drive on our side but the roads are just tracks in some places great fun in a 4X4 that we had. Go for it. Good fun. Stephen
  25. It was Helens idea I just did the tec bits for her. I know she is Hell On Wheels! Stephen
