I need a plate making to fit my etb fuel sender into my tank.

Basically i need a round plate 90mm diameter with a concentric 40mm hole in the middle.

So basically looks like a doughtnut

Probably out of something like 2/3mm ally

To give you a clue on size the discs are 325mm diameter

i can buy one for 28 quid...i know i could knock one up. but if someone can lend me one., ill give em beer tokens and saves me money.

Before i buy one ,then sell it on as i only need it for a few small jobs.

Well finally got there today after a big job cancelled giving me the day off.

Ripped out the old escort clocks sat in the middle.Rewired new dash to multiplugs so easy to remove if needed

Got last few bits done. and got stuck in.

Looks like this now.

In case anyone wonders why everything is in the center,its down to the chassis tubes coming down either side.

doesnt leave much room for stuff.

this is my old carb changed now so no need for it.

the engine is in standard tune dude.nothing special going on.

Fitted accuspark to my pinto engine.

it doesnt have a vacuum advance on the dizzy.

what should i set the timing to ??

ive sorted the oil light..

not the battery light yet.so the battery light needs a live ign feed one side and then to alternator from other

cheers to mark for the info. easily sortable now oh and jez too as your right too

everything else works today after testing earlier

what size resistor do i need.

Just started today wiring the new dash set up in.

Got most of it working fine.

OIl pressure ,fuel gauge,water temp and all lighting fine

Not got rev counter fitted yet so dont know there yet

Indicator and main beam lights work fine.

But oil pressure lamp dont light up and battery light only comes on when its revved,when 1st fired up on tick over its out

The dash is all etb gauges with seperate round warning lamps,mwith all new senders.

Not checked the bulb in the oil yet as its too dark now but will tommorrow

Any ideas what to check 1st ?

depends which carb it is to how and where you adjust it
