Welcome to The UK Kit Car Club
The Committee would like to congratulate Heritage Insurance on their 60th Anniversary in 2025
It's not just shows though, our active area secretaries and members regularly arrange run outs and longer trips to such places as Le Mans, Wales and Scotland, plus the annual club camping weekend and the traditional “end of season” get together. Keep an eye on the events section of the forum for news and details of upcoming events.
The Club also produces four magazines a year, exclusively for club members, filled with all manner of things club or motoring related, and members can get their own articles published in it as well if they wish.
The Club is an independent organisation, and although we have our roots as the Robin Hood Owners Club and Register (RHOCaR), we are very much a club for all makes and model of kit car, so anyone can be a "Hoody", as it's all about the state of mind, not the car you drive! Being a member of The UK Kit Car Club has many benefits above those already mentioned. Members benefit from discounted insurance with nearly all of the specialist kit car insurers, and often find that the discount is more than the club membership fee. Membership also gets you full access to the forum, and a variety of other discounts such as with Euro Car Parts. You'll also find other members are willing to go well above and beyond for any other member they see is in need of help !
So whether you own a Robin Hood, a GBS Zero, a Locost, an MK, a Westfield, a Caterham, (or any of the many other types of kit car), everyone can benefit from joining, so what are you waiting for ?

Announcement:
Great British Sports Ltd. is pleased to announce its recent acquisition of all the assets of Robin Hood Sports Cars Ltd, a leading manufacturer of Kit Cars and their components including, chassis, manifolds, suspension, fuel tanks and a wide range of in-house manufactured items.
Included in the purchase is the Lolocost business-a leading supplier of parts to the kit car market.
The team at GBS consists of real kit car enthusiasts (both builders and owners) and has a genuine ambition to re-establish Robin Hood as the number one manufacturer of “affordable” British sports cars.
The business was acquired by Ian Rowley and Richard Hall and all of the Robin Hood employees have been retained.
The former owners of Robin Hood and its parent companies are not involved in GBS Ltd and have played no part in its formation or in its funding.
The priority for the GBS team will be the launch of the new Hood chassis later this year and the servicing of both existing and new customer requirements.
Robin Hood cars will continue to be sold under their current model names and the full range of historical and current model parts are available.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact us using the original Robin Hood numbers and e-mail addresses.

Early Morning Phone Call Harassment

A few facts :
1) This board is run on behalf of RHOCaR, I am not not RHOCaR, in fact I'm not even an official in the club
2) RHOCaR has no financial involvement with RHSC, RHOCaR is purely a non-profit owners Kit car club.
3) This board is moderated by all the local area secretaries, myself and the board of management at RHOCaR.
4) Almost all recent decisions on this board regarding the posting/removal of information has been made via approved moderation (Not a single person doing it on there own). And secondly all deleted posts are kept and can be reviewed by all moderators.
5) I pay for and run this server and webspace free of charge, the only money I have every asked for from RHOCaR was the cash to pay for the new board software.
With this is mind, I received two phone calls yesterday morning (Friday). Both at 06:45, where my wife answered it at first and the guy was asking for rh-o-car, she thought he had the wrong number (Well she had just been woken up), but he called straight back. I had recognised the RHOCaR bit so answered the phone the second time, mentioned the fact it was 06:45 and he said sorry and hung up on me. Today we received another phone call at 06:23 waking us both up (and my son 5) but this time they hung up on her as soon as she answered.
I hope you are enjoying waking up my family (Myself, wife and son, luckily my daughters are at the other end of the house) for whatever reason, but please stop it. When you have young children and are up in the night (Bed wetting replacement duty) then get woken up early, it really isn't nice. And I can honestly not think of one thing that I could of done online (on this board) to deserve this, yet alone punish my whole family.
Quite simply if it happens again, I will suspend the whole board, then on top of annoying me, you can annoy the whole community. Please feel free to post in chit chat about this....
