Rear Suspension On S7

Hi guy and Gals,

Does anyone have any ideas how I can lift the rear of my S7 without fitting coil Overs?

It is running on standard Sierra springs and shocks at the moment but wheel arch catches tyre now and again. I've tried new springs but only lifted it by about 10 mm not enough. Need about 50mm lift.

Any ideas without major costs would be greatly appreciated?

You thought about them bracket things they use when towing to stiffen springs

Should be easy enough to make a spacer to fit above the spring, but raising the ride height will effect your camber angle. The higher up you go the more the top of the wheel will move outward, if you have camber wedges fitted you may need to take out. On the s7 I had I fitted some caravan towing spring assisters that slotted in between the coils, might not be easy to find these days though.

I tried the spring assistors get them from any trailer place but did not work for me

They do with some mods I just put some on mine made own brackets to fit them

Other end standard 2B. Square tubes with different height holes for adjusting.

It's the monocoque (or however you spell it). Provided you are happy with handling, what stops you raising the wheel arches? Won't that be simpler, less expensive? Just a thought.

wish I could give you some of the space under my wheel arches ive got about a foot
