Where Can I Buy A Custom Chrome Exhaust From?

Actually, if it's the single 2" entry pipe, the silencer would be a good one if there was enough packing in it. It's physically the same size as the Custom chrome one, and when packed with the right stuff, will be fine.

BUT, remember, it does need re-doing from time to time.

The 2 pipe entry silencer is another thing altogether though!!! <_< it's designed so that there's only 1/3rd of the actual can with any packing in to start with, so anyone with one of these fitted, needs to be thinking about an upgrade before you become deaf in your right ear-ole! :(

i should repack too, i've done 7k on my rhe silencer, it's getting extremely noisy, almost to the point of discomfort, even with ear plugs in!

I doubt there is any worthwhile packing left in by now so yes it must be worth it as Jim says it's not a hard job to do.

The one on stu's car is the one I bought from customchrome, it isn't chrome it's poished stainless and cost 160 quid inc vat. The noise is a nice note bust still quite loud, nowhere near as bad as the RH one though. They built it to suit the engine, I had to tell them what size it was and what else had been doen to it. Fortunatley for me Ilive near them so picking it up was easy. Don't know about postage as it is pretty heavy. Nice people to do business with. It also sholdn't ned repacking ever as if you look inside it is full of a nice defelctor mesh. It is a very good product snd should lst as long as the car.

Does that £350 include the headers and the silencer?

If so, can you let us know how it turns out & contact names & nos.

I need a full system for an XE engine in a pillar 2B chassis, so thatll be a

custom built job too. Previous quotes hav been around £500.

Cherry Bombs are infamous for use on the old Escorts & Capri's down in Essex.... That they have a name like that doesn't surprise me at all!!

They have been round for donkey's years. Big Lee has a pair on his V6 I think (& his are the red coated original's) :D

I've got a couple of stainless steel fire extinguishers sat in my cellar, courteusy of Bill. Should be just right for making a nice can out of, slightly longer than the RH one and much fatter, just need to find the time to get round to it now!

by revolutionary D.I.V.E.R. technology for silencing without power loss'

It must have taken them so long to work out a way of getting muff diver into their name!
