:aggressive: It's not ebays fault but when i bought a range rover on ebay i asked the seller about any rust either on the rear x member or on the rear seat belt mounts (wheel arch) typical on old range rovers, he said both he and some experienced land rover mates had given it a good check over and no problems were found in those areas, so like a fool i took his word for it and only looked at the other items on my list as we were in a railway station car park, well the car has been laid up whilst i finished building my new shed and getting the house and other building sorted out, that is until the other day when i had the chance to give it a good looking over indoors, and what do i find, big rust holes by the seat belt mounts so i sent him an email with a copy of his replies asking him what he was going to do about getting it repaired, it guess what---- the amount of abuse he came back with, threatening me with solicitors saying it was my fault for wrecking it and making the rust holes and trying to scam him out of money, as it is more that 60 days ebay wont help, so if you buy a car on ebay give it a thorough check over within 60 days other wise ebay cant help

Well at least YOU got your money back for goods not received, more than can be said for some people that I know of.

Its a risky place to deal.I sold a ride on mower as spares or repairs only £140 he bid and he won. When he came down to collect it i was working and my Wife had to deal with him.He rang me up and said the charging system wasn't working and what am i going to do about it.I said you bid it is spares or repairs if you dont want it dont have it.With that he gave my wife loads of abuse and steamed off up the road leaving some of his tyres behind him.To top this I was left neg feedback and i could not return the favor due to ebays new rules. Was a bit P***ed off at the time but I've done alot of dealings since then with no trouble.I would not buy a car off ebay with out looking at it as different people have different opinions on the condition(unless its spares or repairs of course then you take your chance).

I sold the said mower to someone else for the same money who put a new battery on it and is still using it to this day.
