Same comments as everyone else really, just warmer and dryer due to the 'top end luxury recreational vehicle' which after a bump start did get back to Plymouth perfectly OK. Great show, good company, new faces and old and loads of interesting cars.

Thanks to Ian who does a huge chunk of the hard work and the committee who do a bit here and there and their wives who do the rest!!! Rhocar just gets better and better.

Could not do it without you guys holding poles putting pegs in etc.

 

Big thank you to Carole for helping me out at home with all the bits and bats before the shows.

 

Seems that nobody felt left out or ignored this year so we must be getting something right.

 

Same format for Newark with the welcome addition of the Hog Roast

 

It was suggested that events postings on here some times lose their content by being diluted with chit chat and the like.

 

In future I will post in the events section all relevant info and then close the topic off.

 

I will add to it if I need to and that way all of you aranging your convoys can do so in chit chat if thats OK with you all.

Have said thanks in another post but dont mind saying it again.

 

Thanks to all involved in organising things was a great evening and although I didnt get to spend much time on the stand spent plenty socialising at the camp site, at least until I ran out of alcohol. I dont mind lending a hand to set up the gazebo things, as the saying goes "many hands make light work" an the sooner we get them up the sooner we can start drinking

 

now a paid up member and looking forward to hogroast at newark.

Had a great time and managed to pick up a new hat which many people said looked great on me (I think thats what they said!!!)

 

Got home ok the bike carbs stayed on this time but the alternator fell off with about 1 mile to go

Cracking show. I was a bit miffed that i missed VBH, but otherwise had a great time.

My carbs fell off once too often, a trip to B+Q for some angled ali and threaded rods has cured them.
