Type 9 From A Xr4 2Wd Wanted

Whats the difference between a xr4 type 9 and the standard 5-speed type 9 I had bolted to my pinto? as mine will be for sale in a couple of weeks if its of any interest?

v6 type 9 has a loooooooooooooonger ratio 1st gear i believe.

No, it uses the long nose first motion shafted type 9 with the longer 1st gear ratio as said above.

Much nicer box .

no its the type 9 you require simon, not mt75 .. longer first gear and input shaft, will need spacer to fit zetec

What a bunch of informed chaps we are; pity none of us so far have a gearbox for him

For completeness is the spacer 19mm to allow for the longer input shaft? or am I mistaken?

25 to 30mm with location lip and hole for gear selector and V6 bearing cover

not all v6 have the uprated bearing, only the later ones

If you look at the link I attached you will see the spacer comes without the cut out but you can spec it for an extra £10
