Acewell Speedo Sensor Fitting

Having been given an Acewell 7859 for Christmas have set about the install. Dash has been built up but cannot decide where to mount the speedo sensor. I originally thought about the propshaft but on the 2b it is going to mean a lot of hole cutting as the top tubes are welded together and no room up by the gearbox. ? where has anyone else put one ? driveshaft? wheel with bracket from somewhere. Any help would be appreciated as to best and easiest solution.

I think mine were at the diff end of the prop, Dan E will correct me if im wrong

Mines on the diff end sensor on a piece of ally across the tunnel and magnet araldited to diff flange

Bracket fixed to the chassis, the sensor picks up on the 4 bolts holding the prop shaft to the diff .

It doesn't stop you from losing a magnet from the diff flange though from time to time

mine is -magnet on diff/prop flange & sensor fixed to tunnel side

works no probs
