Try Newman cams not the cheapest but their fast road cam should suit you mower man ,am at present fitting one to my 2.1 with a Peter Burgess head

Hi mower man man just fitted a bp285 ported inj head pully 60 tho off head just this second got it started sounds really liveley but taperty any ideas? also got a couple of heads 4 sale 1is inj and 1not has been ported cheers

Tappet gap on Kent and Piper cams is much less than Ford standard

10 and 12 thou usualy Vs 20 to 25

How much for the injection head?

Get in touch with Peter Burgess at P Burgess in Alfreton prices depend on what you want /need but are competetive my head was not an injhead but I believe is equiv or better matched chamber reshaped valves ,ported , 3 angle seats and bronze guides etc machined to give 10.5 ish comp ,hope to have it up and running next week mower man

He is a good chap is pete burgess, very well respected. He's about 5 miles from my house so I've been a couple of times.

 

He has a rolling road setup and is known to be the v8 tuning guru so ill be there in a few months.

I paid 80 from auto jumble I don't no how good it is has had work tho on ex ports so 80 pound Will buy it cheers

Russ at torque tune has got car now for a few weeks just need a better distreributor if any 1 got 1

Valve clearances are the same as standard with a Piper 285 .008" inlet .010" exhaust.
