The Importance of Accuracy in your Tax Return

 

 

HMRC has returned the Tax Return to a man in

Evesham after he apparently answered one of the questions incorrectly.

 

In response to the question, Do you have anyone dependant on you?

The man wrote:

2.1 million illegal immigrants,

1.1 million crackheads,

4.4 million unemployable Jeremy Kyle scroungers,

900,000 criminals in over 85 prisons

plus 600+ idiots in Parliament and the entire European Commission".

 

HMRC stated that the response he gave was unacceptable.

The man's response back to HMRC was "Who did I miss out?".

So true....he forgot to mention certain other government departments.

Black humour would be much funnier if it wasn't us paying for it. & before you say "You're retired" (you old git) I've just today finished negotiations with Wilts County for a payment plan for business rates charged to me after our tenants did a runner; so that's £800 to the lovely government per month for 18 months. AINT LIFE SWEET???

best put all receipts for florin in tax return after all it is you main form of transport so a legitimate expense. Better still build another car with a roof for winter. :aggressive: :aggressive:
