Gbs Zero Front Suspension Bottom Ball Joints

Hi all,

I know that this has been asked before and that I will probably get told off and told to just to "buy from Kit spares" but I'm hoping someone can help me nevertheless.

 

I want to know what the bottom ball joints for the front suspension are from. I read somewhere that they are from a VW Beetle. However, when I went to Eurocarparts, none of the beetle parts the chap found would match with the front suspensio (we tried 2007, 1997 and I believe a 1999 part).

 

I accept that I could order them through Kitspares, but I am still waiting for a hand brake kit (3 months and counting) and would rather just buy the part locally if possible.

 

If anybody has any idea what I am looking for, it would be hugely appreciated.

My brake kit was the sierra rear disk kit. Any idea on the ball joints?

That was the 'standard' type used on things like the locost.

 

does that look the same as you have?

I'm afraid not, it looks very like the vw beetle one (which is a three hole mount).

 

I might try taking it to andrew page and see if they can help.

My wishbone conversion uses ASTRA Mk 2 ball joint that have the right taper for the Sierra hub.
