2k for a unregistered sub k is rather alot when you will have to strip even if it is well built just to get all the build photos and to get it to latest IVA standard. As others have said go for a correctly registered on and then change it to your liking in slow time.

What kind of budget are you working with to buy a car? There was a supposedly good quality S7 for sale on here for £3995 beginning of December.

If it's registered as a Sierra, walk away or be prepared for a lot of work and expense to get it through iva to make it legal.for the costs you would face + the asking on that one you could buy a decent registered 2b

I'm not sure that this car is worth a 6 hour round trip to check out - but a lot better than bidding unseen.

After chewing the ear of Mr shelton late last night I'm going to look a lot deeper into the wonderful world of IVA.

Not giving up on the idea of stripping a part build and starting again but will keep a beady eye out for a registered one.

All I can find are 5-6k which is pushing the budget to dangerous levels with the management.
