Torque Settings

Hi,

Dumb question time...

Reading my tiger build manual, it's all a bit vague. I was expecting something a little more like a Haynes service manual.

I can't find any torque settings for any bolts, I thought about a sierra haynes but the suspension joints will be different so not the same torque?

 

Being a keen DIYer and no engineer I need a little more spoon feeding than the manual provides.

I would stick to torque settings for the engine but other things would use a good size bar and thread lock on anything else

Torque specs available for most critical parts from donors Haynes manual

Things like suspension bolts are usually held with nylon insert lock nuts and don't require huge torque.

Thread lock is good for stuff your not sure about
