one warning light is simple enough, just use diodes. can run up a diagram if needed, but I am sure someone on here will have one prepared.

toggle switch is also possible, but it will depend on your switch how you can wire it.

if it has one set of contacts you will have to have a permanent live to the flasher unit, this unfortunately means that the indicators will also work all the time ignition on or off.

switch the left and right indicators on with switch, through diodes, to prevent cross feeding with indicator.

if it is a two pole switch, or you can replace it with one, one pole can switch on the flasher unit, the other the indicators, as above with diodes.

Can also run up diagram if required, but again suspect that I will be beaten to it.

One indicator tell tale is just a case of a connection from the left to one side of the tell tale and a connection from the right to the other. No diodes or earth's required, one side earth's the other with just the required side flashing. No idea how it does it, Longboarder posted the tech on this a few years ago which you should be able to find if you search for it.

I have done this, with a red illuminated switch. if i remember correctly I used diodes to connect the indicator wiring to the output from toggle switch so that there couldnt be feedback through the switch connection. It works anyway and the illuminated switch flashes the same as the indicators.

Interesting name. The only time I have seen a flying custard was when my x threw a rather large one at my head when I told her to leave. Well not quite that politely.
